Thank you for your question regarding a weight loss diet whilst breastfeeding.

Whilst breastfeeding, it would still be important to eat 2500 calories a day, a normal healthy diet including all the food groups: Fats, proteins, carbohydrates and fruit/vegetable whilst keeping calorie intake within 2500 calories will assist with weight loss.

However, it is essential that you seek the advice of your doctor before commencing a weight loss diet.
