Thank you for your question about foods to eat whilst breastfeeding.

Increase your calorie intake by 500 calories to 2500 calories in 24 hours, and try to eat 3 meals and 3 snacks, keep well hydrated.

A mixed and varied diet that includes all the food groups (fats, protein, carbohydrates, and fruit and vegetables, nuts and grains) is important.
