Katie is a highly experienced sleep consultant and has helped hundreds of families with their children's sleep problems. Katie recognises that each child is different and always takes the time to build up a full history and tailor sleep plans to each family - carefully assessing children’s specific sleep issues in the context of their developmental age and background, taking into account all the factors that affect sleep and being mindful of parenting approaches and aims.
As a mum to two boys, she fully understands and empathises with the demands and challenges of early parenthood and is dedicated to working with parents in a way that they are comfortable with and at a pace that’s appropriate for them and their child.
Katie is a certified sleep consultant specialising in babies and toddlers. She has over 6 years of experience and has successfully helped hundreds of parents resolve their children’s sleep issues. She offers a gentle, considered and holistic approach and knows from first-hand experience that sleep training can be tough at times, but firmly believes that teaching children to sleep independently is one of the most important skills we can give them.
She previously taught in a primary school and worked as an Ofsted-registered childcarer, so understands how vital sleep, routine and consistency are to giving children the right environment to thrive and learn in. She also understands the importance of sleep training needing to fit with children’s broader emotional, physical and developmental needs. Katie also works as a sleep expert for Nurturing Mums.
